MSI recognizes the paramount importance of online safety in our product and service offerings, and will work expeditiously to evaluate and address online safety concerns reported to us and/or to the suitable authorities to minimize access, exposure, or vulnerability to illegal, restricted, or harmful online content on our directly controlled websites, products, and services.

Under the Australia Online Safety Act 2021, illegal, restricted, or harmful online content may include (without limitation):

-          Abusive content that can that when sent, posted, or shared online or through an electronic service or platform, is likely to harm the physical or mental health of the person targeted, and which includes content used in cyberbullying of a child (persons under 18), an adult (18 years and older), or image-based abuse.

-          Illegal and restricted content that can contain seriously harmful material, including images and/or videos showing sexual content, abuse or exploitation of children, acts of terror or violence, acts of violent crimes or extreme violence, content showing self-harm or suicide, or content that should not be accessible by children (persons under 18).

Reporting illegal or harmful content in Australia

If you wish to report any illegal, restricted, or harmful online content on MSI Australia’s website, products, or services, you may do so in the following ways:

1)      Direct report to MSI Australia. Emailing [ausrma@msi.com]. You are not required to submit the actual content or image being reported – a description of such content will do. You may wish to include the following information in your description:

-          The type of illegal, restricted, or harmful content. For example:

  1. Child abuse / child sexual abuse / child exploitation
  2. Sexually explicit content
  3. Acts or incitements of crime, terror, violence, extreme violence, fraud

-          Where the illegal, restricted, or harmful content is located. For example, a copy of the url or screenshot

-          The applicable MSI product or service providing or making available the harmful content

-          Your contact details should you wish to be contacted.
